Sport Betting Rules
Scope and Application
These Roobet Sports Betting Rules govern all bets placed on Roobet’s sportsbook, covering pre‑match and live markets, outrights, and specialty propositions. They apply to all customers and establish the basis for bet acceptance, settlement, voids, and dispute handling. By placing a wager you accept these rules and any official amendments published by Roobet.
General Rules and Bet Acceptance
- Roobet reserves the right to refuse or partially accept any bet, void bets, or adjust settlements where a palpable error, system fault, or other breach of these rules has occurred.
- Bets must be placed before the official start of the event or before market closure. Live bets may be suspended, restricted, or cancelled in accordance with these rules.
- If a participant is disqualified, retires, or becomes ineligible, Roobet may void or settle bets as appropriate and may void markets impacted by the change in status.
- Roobet may void or cancel bets after acceptance if there is a demonstrable error in event details or odds, if a customer is suspected of attempting to manipulate the market, or if the customer has a conflict of interest with the event.
- The Cash Out feature, where available, is subject to these rules and Roobet may suspend or settle Cash Out at its discretion.
- The minimum stake per bet is the amount displayed on the bet slip; maximum stakes vary by sport, market, and jurisdiction and are shown before bet placement.
Bet Settlement and Re‑Settlement
- All settlements are based on official results published by the governing body. If the official result is unavailable, Roobet may settle using reliable independent sources or internal records, provided the choice is disclosed and consistent with market terms.
- If a market or price is published with an error, Roobet reserves the right to void the affected bets and adjust settlements as necessary.
- Roobet may re‑settle a market in light of later information or official corrections. The maximum interval for re‑settlement of a betslip is 30 days from the original settlement date.
- Dead heat rules apply where two or more selections share a winning position. Settlement is proportional to the number of winners and the odds at the time of settlement.
Event Disruptions and Scheduling
- In the event of postponement, abandonment, or cancellation, Roobet will void or settle markets according to the status at the time of resumption or the official result, subject to market descriptions. If the event resumes within 48 hours of the original schedule, bets may stand; if not resumed, unsettled bets are void and stakes refunded where applicable.
- Venue changes, opponent changes, or material changes to the event may render open bets void at Roobet’s discretion.
- Roobet reserves the right to void bets if there is suspicion of fraud, manipulation, or integrity concerns surrounding an event.
Markets and Market Rules
- Roobet settles bets on the basis of standard pre‑match and live markets, including but not limited to win/draw/win (1X2), totals, spreads/handicaps, and outrights. Outright markets are settled regardless of whether listed participants take part in the event; non‑participating selections are treated as losses unless otherwise stated.
- Outrights and multi‑selection markets may be subject to a Play‑or‑Pay principle: listed participants who do not take part will have their related markets settled as losses, while head‑to‑head markets may be void if one participant does not participate.
- For markets with the possibility of a draw, results are based on regular time unless the market description specifies otherwise.
- Currency, decimal odds, and settlement conventions are stated in the bet slip and are binding for all settlements.
Sports‑Specific and Special Markets
Roobet provides additional rules for markets such as goalscorer, first/last/anytime scorer, and other player or team proposition bets. In cases where game events influence outcomes (e.g., own goals, penalties, overtime), the market description governs settlement. If a match is abandoned after a scorer has occurred, certain scorer markets may be settled while others are voided as described in market terms.
Data, Integrity, and Corrections
- Roobet relies on official results where available. In the absence of official results, Roobet may use reliable third‑party data or internal statistics, as appropriate.
- Roobet may intervene to correct errors arising from data feeds, pricing, or system faults. Such corrections may include voiding bets, re‑settling markets, or reversing settlements if required to reflect the true outcome.
- Roobet shall not be liable for delayed or imperfect onsite data or video streams that are not used as the basis for settlement.
Disputes, Disclosures, and Disassembly
- All disputes regarding bets, settlements, or account activity must be raised in writing within 7 days of the event’s conclusion or the original bet start time, whichever is applicable, otherwise claims may be denied.
- Roobet reserves the right to suspend betting or settlement activities pending investigation where fraud, irregular betting activity, or integrity concerns arise.
